As you know from our previous blog posts, we are fascinated with Green Power. There is only one planet Earth, and we want to do our part in encouraging technology that helps the environment, so that generations to come can live safely and happily.

One of the directions green technology has been moving in is Low Emission Vehicles. We have blogged previously about electric cars, but this blog post is about electric bikes and scooters. Motorized single-person mobility devices have been around for many years as an alternative for manual wheelchairs. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters continue to be improved and redesigned every year. And today, there is an additional market for motorized scooters and bicycles: a generation of young professionals who use ebikes for recreation as well as commuting. Aside from being light on the environment when compared to a fuel-powered car or a motorcycle, ebikes provide the advantage of not having to get a driver’s license. While ebikes are usually treated the same as regular bikes, there may be local regulations concerning ebike riding, so please do your research.

UPS Battery Center’s 6-DZM-20 and 6-DZM-12 VRLA batteries are compatible with many brands and models of eBikes, such as: Amego, AWC, Daymak, Dragon, Ecolo, Ecoped, Emmo, Gio Electric, GVA, Motorino, Raylight, Superscooter, and many more. Our eBike and electric scooter batteries are the perfect replacement for the originals. Importantly, our lead acid batteries are fully recyclable.
