UPS batteries are typically rated for 3-5 years or approximately 200 complete full-load discharge cycles, assuming that the batteries have been maintained within manufacturer specifications and have not been abused or exposed to harsh conditions. We recommend that UPS batteries be replaced every 3 to 4 years to ensure maximum performance and reliability in time of need.

Can I attach a printer to the UPS?
It is not recommended that printers be attached to a UPS. Printers draw a very large amount of power when in use and make it not economical. Attaching a printer to a UPS could cause the UPS to overload and cause heavy wear and tear to the batteries. Laser printers put a huge load on the UPS when warming up and printing; you would have to buy a bigger unit to support that and any other equipment you may have.
