Electric Vehicles are taking over as the people become more aware of their benefits and raise the demand for them. Environmentally friendly is the new cool and we couldn’t be happier! That’s why today, we are writing about a green company that has gained a lot of popularity in the past year. That company is Envision Solar.
Envision Solar: EV ARC
San Diego-based, Envision Solar produces and sells fully solar-dependent products that have been gaining a lot of attention. One in particular is the EV Arc: a portable charging station for electric vehicles! The EV Arc is the only one of its kind in the world and it makes charging EVs much easier as it it can transported to any parking lot within minutes, and operated without any permits. It charges the EVs during the day and during the night so you can’t run out of power. In addition, the power stored in the grid can replace electricity during a blackout!
Envision Solar also make other products such as the Envision Solar Tree which offers shade for 6-8 cars while simultaneously charging them with a maximum of 700 e-miles.
Solar New York
We mentioned how Envision Solar has been doing great for the past year and well, it has attracted many companies in New York. Envision Solar has signed a 3 year $3.8 million contract with the city of New York to bring out more EV Arch charging stations to parking lots all over the city. This is going to be extremely convenient as charging electric cars has never been easier. It also helps that the city is endorsing and promoting solar transportation as it encourages New Yorkers to make the switch!
The demand for solar energy products is on the rise and will continue to rise for the next few years so we hope more companies like this come out.
