Please consult your owner's manual before replacing the battery in your home alarm system. For some alarm systems, a call will need to be placed to the alarm company letting them know that the battery is being replaced.

Always make sure to wire the battery in the same way as your old one, red wire to the red terminal on the battery, black wire to the black terminal on the battery. We find it very helpful to take a picture of the old battery in it's place with a Smart Phone, then if the wiring or battery mounting is in question, the picture is there for easy reference. A quick step that can make the installation process much easier.
